Tim’s experience in healthcare started at age 6 when he had major surgery on his eyes and was blind for 8 weeks. He will always remember how his mom guided him through the process, educating him about the surgery and fostering his belief in a positive outcome. This early experience made him a big believer in the human aspect of healing.
He graduated from University of Massachusetts in 1988 with a bachelors in Economics. After 3 years selling Ricoh photo copiers he took his first position in the medical business with C.R, Bard, Urology Division, a fortune 500 company known for its high quality products. This opportunity brought him into the operating room working side by side with surgeons. Tim was a top performer at Bard, trained over 30 new sales reps and was promoted to manage the Urological business in Boston, New York City and Philadelphia.
In 2001 Tim joined Smith & Nephew’s wound care division where he ranked # 1 in US sales for Dermagraft, a human tissue product for the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers. Since 2004, he has built several successful Mobile Lithotripsy companies.
Tim feels that his current position with Apollo Wave is one of his most important. Low intensity Shockwave is an incredible technology that he has witnessed for over 15 years in the United States and Europe that helps your body heal itself. His mission is to educate, prevent, treat early and heal. To provide access to technology that is used by professional athletes, to maximize physical performance and heal injuries quickly.
